Teva was founded in 1984 on the banks of the Grand Canyon. An imaginative river guide tied two velcro watch straps around a pair of old slippers in order to prevent his slippers form being carried by the water current. This was the beginning of Teva!

The label has conserved its pioneering and free spirit to keep on discovering new things. 

Teva's sandals give any adventure the sense of freedom and escape. The brand wants its consumers to always keep on exploring with shoes that do not stop you, but enable you to keep that curious spirit. The sandals' straps are entirely made of recycled plastic, which represents over 9 million less plastic bottles on the waste heap! Teva aims to reduce their footprint so that newer generations can enjoy the freedom to explore the world. 

Sustainable

From 2020 on, the straprs of the Teva sandals have been produced with 100% recycled plastic: the REPREVE® yarn. On top of their recycled straps, Teva is working hard on finding alternatives for materials and do their best to reduce water consumption and waste in the production process of their packaging.

The Velcro fastening is easily opened and closed, and the EVA footbed provides infinite comfort. The Teva sandals come in vegan versions, which are composed of synthetic/ vegetable materials
