UGG

In 1978, a young Australian surfer founded the UGG brand on the shores of Southern California. With his Australian roots, he had a strong love for sheepskin and was convinced that one day the world would share this love. By the mid-1980s, the UGG label had become symbolic of Southern California's relaxed attitude. The brand was gaining popularity through surf shops all along the coast of California.

UGG entered the world of New York Fashion in the 2000's and beyond, evolving from boots and slippers to trendy,  luxury items that appeared the pages of Vogue.

In 2006, UGG opened its very first boutique in Soho, making its imprint on the global fashion capital. New York was the ideal location for the brand's first signature store, providing customers with a powerful physical expression of the brand and a place where customers could experience the full scope of the line.

In 2008, UGG opened shops in London's Westfield and Convent Garden, expanding the brand internationally and giving consumers in the UK the opportunity to experience UGG firsthand. Also in 2006, UGG opened its first shop in Omotesando Hills, Japan, setting the stage for international growth.

The brand has since grown into a global lifestyle brand known for its iconic Classic boot. This boot grew up on the feet of many a Hollywood star and quickly conquered the world. Since then, UGG has expanded its portfolio to include apparel, accessories and home furnishings, all with a focus on creativity, quality and craftsmanship.

The UGG EnerG System insoles make walking barefoot feel almost like walking barefoot. It uses micro-pod technology, which combines soft foam with polyurethane midsoles for ultimate cushioning.
